Old Dutch wanted to grow their brand and product awareness by utilizing social media. To do that, Hubbard Interactive would increase their following on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Driving traffic to the website while building excitement and curiosity about the brand and its products to new and existing customers was also a goal. Old Dutch wanted to create an online “warehouse” that consumers could go to in order to learn about its products. Starting its social media platforms from scratch, Old Dutch turned to Hubbard Interactive to develop a strategy to grow its social media following and presence, particularly in the Midwest, where Old Dutch products are sold.
Hubbard Interactive built the client’s Facebook from the ground up, running page like campaigns to grow their following. We wanted to foster the tradition of the brand while also evolving it to keep up with modern times. The brand voice is fun and witty, all while displaying the quality of the products. Utilizing the series of Facebook page like campaigns, Hubbard Interactive created brand awareness for Old Dutch and drove new fans to the Facebook Page. Featuring a variety of the brand’s products, the campaigns focused on the company’s ties to the Midwest, the flavor of the products, and the longevity the company has enjoyed.
Hubbard created both stylized graphics that resonated with the family brand while targeting the Upper Midwest specifically, as well as lifestyle photos of people enjoying the outdoors or family gatherings. Using colorful graphics with bright colors that matched the chip bags to make them pop. We kept our graphics local in the upper Midwest as the client is based and sells their products in that region. We also created content that kept the consumer engaged and wanting more of the products. This client is very community oriented so we had content created that resonated with community events, sponsorship, etc.
